Muslim Marine BLASTS Trump by Posting His Military ID Badge: “Where’s Yours?”

U.S. Uncut| After Donald Trump suggested requiring Muslim-Americans to wear ID badges to publicly identify themselves, one Muslim member of the U.S. Marines took him up on his challenge — and upped the ante.

U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Tayyib Rashid yesterday posted a photo of his military ID on his Twitter account, @MuslimMarine, saying, “I’m an American Muslim and I already carry a special ID badge. Where’s yours?”

Rashid’s tweet was not only a dig at Trump’s comments on profiling Muslims — it was also clearly poking fun of Donald Trump’s record as a draft-dodger. Rhode Island state senator Elaine Morgan recently suggested with a straight face that Syrian refugees be placed in segregated camps, while the Republican-led U.S. House of Representatives just passed a bill tightening the already-rigid regulations applying to refugees from war-torn countries like Iraq and Syria.

Tayyib Rashid’s recent tweets show his outspokenness against the wave of anti-Islamic fervor sweeping the country:

When one person tweeted their fear of predominantly-male refugees from Syria entering the country, Rashid tweeted that he would welcome them with open arms, refusing to acknowledge the sentiment behind the tweet:
